Emily’s amazing discovery
Chapter 1.
It was the 23rd of December. Emily and Mark were arguing about Santa Claus.
"Santa is real!" Mark shouted.
"No he isn't!" replied Emily.
Mark was a small, skinny and smart boy. He didn't like arguing with Emily, but the most thing he
didn't like is her calling him a "baby!".
"Don't call me a baby!" he teased "Or else I'll tell mom that you have a crush on Michael and I'll tell
her you have ruined your new doll."
"Fine," Emily answered, "I won't tease you"

At 9 o’clock, their mother called them downstairs. They said "Good night!" to their parents and
went to bed. Emily went to her room and fell asleep straight away. She felt her stomach-ache and
her fingers squeeze. She got off the bed and went over to her new mirror. She looked at herself and
screamed! She turned into a gingerbread girl!
Chapter 2.
Emily was standing in the front of her mirror. A tear came down her face. She couldn't help crying.
She was crying until she heard a voice call her.
"Emily!"
"Who's that?" she asked.
«I’m Mr Gingi and came here to take you to Santa's world!'' he replied, "You are not the only one
turned into a gingerbread man or woman. Children from all over the world who didn't believe in
Santa Claus happened to be like you. You have a chance to stop Evil Claus! He is the one who turns
them into gingerbread men and captures them, well most off them."
"Fine I will go with you." Emily decided.
Mr Gingi took Emily's hand and their feet were off the ground for a few seconds, but then they
were back on the ground. They were standing in a different place.
''Where are we?" Emily asked.
"In Santa's world" Mr Gingi replied.
They were walking to Santa's house for around an hour and finally came.
Chapter 3.
They knocked on the door. No reply. They knocked again. They heard footsteps. The door flung
open. There was someone standing there, in front of them.
"Max! Emily!" Santa cried, "You're here!"
"Yep we are Santa!" Max replied "And yeah Emily, by the way my child name is Max."
"OK" Emily said "Hello Santa Claus."
They came in and Santa explained to them that they have to get into Evil Claus's castle and find a
room with a golden box, which is held with a golden fox. There in the box was held a golden heart,
which they had to brake. He gave them a map of the castle and how to get there.
The next morning they started going.
Chapter 4.
They were walking for a long time when they finally saw the castle. The sneaked through the secret
passageway that only they knew about. They came out of the passage and they realised that they
were in a jail. Luckily, the guards were away for lunch so they sneaked into the secret rooms. They
went to every single one of them and finally found the right one. There standing was the golden fox.
Emily walked over to it and looked for the golden box.
"Emily look!" Max cried," There is so many treasures in THIS room!"
She ignored him. Emily continued her search. THERE! She found it. She opened the box and
snapped the heart in two.
Her feet were off the ground. Then she fell on her wooden floor in her room. She looked in the
mirror and smiled. She was back to normal.
Chapter 5.
"Emily, Mark!" she heard her mother "Here are presents from Santa!"
Mark and Emily ran downstairs and hugged their parents. They opened their presents. Emily got a
puppy and a new skateboard!
Knock! Knock! Her mom went to the door and opened it.
"Emily there's someone at the door looking for you!" her mother called her.
"Ok one second"
She ran to the door and nearly fell on her way. She didn't know the person at the door.
"It's me Max! Emily I saw you in the window so I ran straight here!" Max told her.
" Max!!!!!" she hugged him.
