Aims The aim of this course is to provide students with critical understanding of the relevance and importance of human resource management in the hospitality and tourism industries. The course will not take a 'how to do it' approach to human resources and will avoid the notion of 'one best way'. Rather, it takes a more critical and strategic approach to the management of human resources in the international hospitality and tourism industries. 16.
