Identify cultural aspects of the target language. Attendance: There is a ten-absence limit. Make-up work is only available to students with excused absences. It is the student’s responsibility to find out the work that was missed during the excused absence. Homework due the day you were gone is due the day you return, unless absent three or more days. Since tests and quizzes are announced well in advance, plan on taking them with the class unless you were gone several days. Students needing extra clarification on assignments may meet with the teacher and make appropriate adjustments according to the needs of the student and at the discretion of the teacher. Grading: Grading Scale: A = 90-100% B = 80-89% C = 70-79% D = 60-69% F = <60% Grading is done on a point system.
