Some thoughts for prayer:

From the Diocesan prayer diary this week we pray for the churches in Madagascar, West Indies, Nth and Sth Dakota, Uganda, South Indian and

Australia. For the people and clergy of our

Romney and Tenterden Deanery.

We pray for all those caught up in war or violence of any sort. We pray for the work of Churches and rescue and support teams

We pray for the work of Christian Aid and all who respond as we come to the end of Christian Aid week.

Pray for Archbishop Justin Welby and Bishop

Trevor asking for God’s blessing on their ministries. We pray for all who have taken on new responsibilities in the many churches in our

Diocese.

We also remember with thanks all who give their time and talents to our churches, especially this week those on our coffee, cleaning rotas and our intercessors.

We pray for God’s blessing on the preparations and opportunities for time together during The

Gathering in Canterbury

For our parishes, both Wittersham and Ebony .

For Wittersham School and for all who are taking exams.

For the sick, particularly those in hospital or

hospice, and all in any kind of need that they may know Christ’s presence with them:

Kathy Head, Stephen Bailey, David Pennyfather,

Tony & Audrey Mayer, Geoffrey Waters, Tim

Jupp, and Charlotte Aspinall.

We pray for all who mourn the passing of loved ones. May those who have died recently rest in peace.
