OBJECTIVE

Current Designation – Structural/Civil Engineer
Started working in Aug 2010 as a full-time Junior Structural Design Engineer and was promoted within
6months into the Core Project team as Project Coordinator for Model Developement region and acted
as a single Structural Engineer. In June 2011, awarded as the best resource of 2011 and was
promoted as Assistant Development/Project/Deployment Manager.
JOB PROFILE:
 Serve as the senior Site Representative for all matters related to construction quality
assurance of structural works.
 Monitor the structural works for conformance with the provisions of the Contract Documents
and the Procedures manual.
 Review, approve and process all structural technical submittals.
 Coordinate and supervise the work of all structural activities and operations.
 Liaise with local authorities and ministerial agencies having jurisdiction over the project.
 Receive/action Request for Information (RFI) that apply to structural works. RFI's requiring
design feedback will be directed to the Designer for response. Review the responses for
adequacy.
 Review contractor's structural change order proposals. Prepare recommendations to Resident
Engineer and or Client for review. If warranted, assist in negotiations with contractors
regarding changes in contract value or project duration.
 Review contractors' claims related to structural works. Prepare recommendations for claims
approval or rejection.
 Assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules.
 Witness testing and commissioning of the works.
 Approve the contractors' as-built drawings and O&M manual submittals.
 Assist with the final inspection of the work. Review the adequacy and accuracy of punch lists.
Monitor final completion of the work.
 Perform all other duties that may be requested by the Resident Engineer.

ACADEMIC PROJECT DETAILS

Design of RCC framed building
This project deals with design of the RCC framed structure using STAAD pro and
successfully giving the results and making the building safe through giving suitable steel in the
structure of the building.

Dynamic Analysis of Multi-storied building using ETABs
This project deals with earthquake analysis of the multistoried building using Etabs where the
building is analyzed and make sure that the building is safe when the earthquake comes

REQUIREMENTS
· Experience in structural analysis using ETABS, SAFE, ADAPT etc
· Proficiency in wind and seismic analysis and FEM based computer analysis programs
· Will be expected to work with minimum supervision
· Medium to high rise RC and steel structure buildings
· Minimum 2 years experience, with preferably 1 year local experience in INDIA
· Minimum Bachelors degree, but preferably Masters in Structural Engineering
