RESIDENT ASSOCIATE PROGRAM POLICIES
Application to Loyola Law School's 2014-2015 Resident Associate Program (RAP) is open to all graduates of the Class of
2014 Loyola Law School, Los Angeles Juris Doctor Program who have passed the February 2014 California Bar exam or
have taken the July 2014 California Bar exam. Interested graduates must submit an application to the Loyola Law School
Career Development Center in order to qualify for the Program (submission instructions posted on the Loyola Law School
Symplicity system at https://law-lls-csm.symplicity.com/students/).
Applicants may apply to any or all law firms participating in RAP. The Loyola Law School Career Development Center will
collect applications on behalf of employers, but the employers will make all hiring decisions. Employers have requested that
applicants do not contact the firm; all applications should be submitted via Symplicity. Final selections of Residents are
contingent on passage of the California Bar exam. If selected by a firm, Resident Associates must be available for the RAP
Boot Camp. Residents are expected to start employment with their firm as early as January 2, 2015.
Residents are expected to commit one year to the program. If at any point a Resident feels she/he will be unable to complete
her/his yearlong term, she/he should immediately contact Linda Whitfield or Marla Najbergier at the Career Development
Center. Other details and terms of employment will be finalized between the Resident and her/his firm.
All statements in this application form and other application materials submitted to the Career Development Center and the
participating RAP firms should be true to the best of the applicant's knowledge, and reflect realistic projections based on
information reasonably available. Any material misstatements or omissions herein may be cause for disqualification from
RAP, or result in termination of participation in RAP.
By signing below, I acknowledge, understand, and will follow all the policies and procedures of Loyola Law School's
Resident Associate Program.
