Information Services & Technology EXPEDITE COMPUTER ACCOUNT APPLICATION Do not use this form for guests or departmental function accounts INFORMATION FOR DEPARTMENTS This form may be used only for employees (and appointees) who would normally be able to go through Iridium to claim or reactivate their computer accounts, but can’t because of HR paperwork delays. The employee must have either an employee or student number in order to get computer accounts. The Computer Accounts Office can authorize the person’s employee computer accounts for three weeks without a formal sponsorship. The person must go through Iridium to activate the accounts. If the person is processed by HR within the three weeks, the accounts will remain active. If the person is still not considered a U of M employee after three weeks, the accounts will be shut down without notice. It is the department’s responsibility to apply for a sponsorship if the HR paperwork will not be processed in time. Iridium will give the expedited employee the same resource accounts as an eligible employee.
