Spring Musical...Like to be on stage? Sing? Dance? Act? Wear fun costumes? Sign a lot of autographs? Come out for the2013 Spring
Musical: Seussical the Musical! Jump into the Jungle of Nool and Whoville to discover “all the thinks you can think.” The show will
be May 3-5. Auditions will be December 19-20 in the SRHS auditorium. See Ms. Bonfiglio for an audition packet and to sign up for an
audition slot. This will be an unforgettable experience! See you then! Director: N. Bonfiglio (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)
Analog and Digital Electronics…Students will gain an understanding in some of the background concepts that deal with analog and
digital electronics. You will wire basic analog and digital electronics circuits. You will see the role science, technology, engineering,
and mathematics play in solid state electronics while taking an in-depth look at the electrical engineering field as well as trade-bases
careers that center on electronics. Instructor: H. Scull (Tuesday and Thursday)
Spanish Dance…Come learn the history of Spanish dance style along with new dance moves. After a quick lesson, you will dance the
afternoon away! No partner required. Bring your friends! Instructor: J. Lorenz (Tuesday)
Chess…Learn how to play chess, or increase your skill and knowledge in a fun and supportive environment! This class is for both
beginners and experts. Instructor: R. Herbst (Tuesday)
Basic Clothing Repair and Construction…Want to fix your clothes? How about make a pair of PJ pants? You will learn how to repair
basic tears, hole, and seams as well as to construct a pair of PJ pants. You can also make small pillows with leftover fabric.
Instructor: J. Hall (Monday)
Fitness Club…Come work out and shape up with your friends in the school’s Community Fitness Center. Get the support you need
from fellow exercise buddies and put a new “shape” on things! Create a new you that feels good on the inside and out. Instructor:

Keyboarding…Do you hunt and peck? Do you want to type up your papers a lot faster than you are now? Then this is the class for
you! Keyboarding is a vital life skill! Join us for this fun, self-paced, keyboarding practice. Improved keyboarding skills guaranteed!
Attention Juniors: The writing SOL test will be on line for the first time this year. Keyboarding skills will be critical to your success on
this important test. Instructor: K. Larson (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)
Friends of Rachel (FOR)…Rachel Scott was the first person killed in the 1999 Columbine High School shooting. Her kindness and
compassion have lived on and have resulted in the “Chain Reaction” of kindness. Won’t you join the Friends of Rachel (FOR) Club

Ladies and Gentlemen by Choice…This mentoring program is designed to serve as a system of support to high school students in
grades 9-12. It exists to build self-esteem, promote and improve academic success, and encourage social awareness. Join this group
and be part of a positive influence on our campus as you achieve academic success while training to become leaders of tomorrow.

Robotics…This class will focus on problem-solving through the deployment of robotic platforms. There will be class competitions for
