TELESCOPING TRIPOD LIGHT – DUAL 350 WATT

An R-O-M Corporation tripod telescoping light pole, part number KR-SB-833-2, comprised of the following components shall be supplied.
Two (2) R-O-M Magnafire 3000, model KR-33 lights shall be supplied. The rectangular die cast light fixtures shall measure 13-1/2" wide
by 5-5/16" high by 4-7/8" deep and have a white powder coat finish. The 350 watt 130 volt lights shall have quartz halogen HIR bulbs
with a field replaceable modular, 5" high by 12" wide electro-polished aluminum reflector and molded, high heat polycarbonate handle.
The lights shall be mounted on an aluminum tubular crossbar attached to the pole. The fixtures shall have a locking swivel joint with a
3/4" diameter NPT threaded base to allow the light to be manually tilted up/down and locked in position by the operator.
Two (2) R-O-M part number KR-GG-3000, stainless steel grille guard shall be furnished. The guard shall be designed for direct
attachment to the Magnafire series of lights utilizing existing screw holes.
Product shall be listed by an accredited NRTL to ensure conformance to UL Standard 153 for portable luminaires. The Listing shall cover
both the fixture and mounting system.
The wiring shall be routed from the light head, down the inside of the inner pole and out the bottom of the outer pole. The e nd of the cord
shall be coiled and ready to accept an electrical plug.
The R-O-M 800 series tripod shall have legs and poles constructed of 6063-T6 extruded aluminum with a 320 grit spiral brushed and
anodized finish. The tripod shall have a full-sized handle for carrying, as well as to assist with opening and closing, and an over-sized
locking knob to keep the device in the desired position.
The legs shall have a diameter of 3-3/4" when closed. The 1/3 round, 120 degree arc shaped legs neatly fold into a cylindrical shape
when closed. A 1/4 turn locking knob secures the legs in the open and closed position. The 50" outer pole will be 1-7/8" x .060" extruded
aluminum 6063-T6 with 320 spiral grit finish. The 40" inner tube will be made of the same material, but will be 1-3/8" x .060. The poles
shall have a brite dip anodized finish.
The inner tube shall recess into the outer tube and be locked in any position by a two piece locking collar machined from 6061-T6
aluminum. The locking collar assembly consists of a threaded locking cap that compresses an injection molded delrin compression
sleeve. This locking collar assembly will provide a water-tight seal for the inner and outer pole. The locking collar assembly shall have a
brite dip anodized finish and lifetime warranty. Collars and main hinges shall be constructed from die-cast aluminum alloy painted with
durable two-coat silver powder paint, or alloy 6063-T6 with brite-dip anodized finish. Brackets and hardware shall be fabricated from 300
series polished stainless steel.

A truck mounting bracket kit for attachment of the tripod to an external vehicle surface shall be supplied. This kit shall consist of a die cast
aluminum lower bracket that shall mount to the vehicle and cradle the bottom of the folding legs. A rubber insulator shall be utilized to
prevent any movement or rattles. A three piece upper bracket assembly machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and have a brite dip anodized
finish shall also be supplied. This three piece bracket design will consist of a clamp style saddle with removable retaining cap that fits
around the upper portion of the outer pole. This saddle will incorporate a tongue that will fit into a receiver that is mounted to the vehicle.
The saddle will then be secured to the receiver with a cam action pull to release lever to allow quick removal of the tripod light from the
vehicle.
