A Note from Mrs. Cresap, Principal - Antelope Trails Staff Changes for the 2015-2016 School Year
Good Afternoon ATE Parents!
As we are winding down a very successful 2014-2015 school year, we want to thank you for allowing us to work with
your children this year. It continues to be a privilege to serve you and your family, and to watch your children learn,
grow, and thrive. As each of you know, while we are winding down, we are also preparing for the upcoming 2015-2016
school year. With the changing of each school year some staff changes occur, and 2015-2016 will be no different. To
that end, I would like to share with you some staff changes that will be forthcoming:
•
There will be three sections of each grade level in grades 1 – 5. At this point, we will continue to have
two full day Kindergarten classes and one half-day Kindergarten class.
•
Mrs. Donna O’Riley, current literacy teacher, will be retiring at the conclusion of this school year. Mrs.
Sheri McManus, current first grade teacher, will be the incoming literacy teacher at Antelope Trails
beginning with the 2015-2016 SY.
•
With Mrs. McManus moving to the position of ATE literacy teacher, Mr. Shaun Motley, current RtI
Coordinator/Interventionist, will be moving to first grade to team with Mrs. Redenbaugh and Mrs.
Kleckner/Mrs. Delich. Mr. Motley has many successful years as a first grade teacher and is looking
forward to working with the first grade team.
•
Mrs. Michelle Wade, current fourth grade teacher, will be moving to the position of TAG teacher for
Antelope Trails in 2015-2016. Mrs. Wade has experience in this area from her work in previous school
districts around the country. We want to thank the current INR TAG teacher, Mrs. Conroy for her work
with our students this school year.
•
Mrs. Jill Combs, current fifth grade teacher, will be moving to fourth grade to work with the current
fourth grade team consisting of Mrs. Morin and Mr. Fowler.
•
•
The fifth grade team for Antelope Trails in 2015-2016 will be fortunate to have the teaching strengths
and talents of Mrs. Beer, Mrs. Izzo, and Mrs. Mooney.
Our current Assistant Principal, Ms. Kelly Garnhart, will be moving to her new position of elementary
principal at Frontier Elementary School for the 2015-2016 SY. In her place will be Mrs. Andie Ruskin,
current interim principal at Douglas Valley Elementary School. We are so fortunate to have the
experience, wisdom, humor, and knowledge that Mrs. Ruskin will bring to Antelope Trails.
We look forward to seeing all of you and working with your children and family for the 2015-2016 school
year.
Most sincerely,
Laura K. Cresap, Principal
