This will not help you improve your reading. DON’T read books that are tooooo easy for you. This won’t help, either. Use pictures to help you understand, but make sure you read the words, too! ASK QUESTIONS! “What is the word for this?” “What does this word mean?” etc. PAY ATTENTION to things around you. Do you understand the words on signs? Can you understand a GPS? Do you know how your parents use a bank or the post office? Do you help shop for food using a list? NOW is the time to ask, learn, and practice! What is your goal? INDEPENDENCE!! The more you know and the more you can do yourself, the more independent you will be!
