I lead the brainstorming and took down ideas for a
modern “Annabel Lee” play.
After helping write the script, I inserted lots of sensory
details to help the audience understand our characters
and play.
I served as the director of the performance part, making
sure everyone knew their parts well and stayed in
character. I made my group rehearse several times.
I offered ideas for the modern day “Annabel Lee” play.
After helping write the script, I inserted transitions and
checked to make sure the script flowed.
I also checked to make sure each member had a copy of
the script.
I acted in the play, knew my part well and stayed in
character the whole time.

After helping write the script, I inserted words and
stage directions that added personality to the characters.

I offered ideas for the modern day “Annabel Lee” play.
After helping write the script, I verified that the
sentences flowed and had rhythm. I added things like
alliteration, assonance, rhyme, meter, and other
techniques. I made sure sentences started differently
and that they were of different length.
I asked characters to read their parts aloud so I could
LISTEN to the rhythm of their words and make sure it
sounded great.
I acted in the play, knew my part well and stayed in
character the whole time.
I offered ideas for the modern day “Annabel Lee” play.
After helping write the script, I edited and proofread the
script for grammar, spelling, capitalization, and other
usage errors.
I wrote the final script to be turned in NICE and NEAT
and double checked for grammar, spelling,
capitalization and other usage errors.
I acted in the play, knew my part well and stayed in
character the whole time.

I designed a fitting and appropriate background for our
modern day script. It matches the setting in our script.
