Florida FFA Recognizes State Winners in High School
Livestock CDE
ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida FFA is pleased to announce the winners of the High School Livestock
Career Development Event. The winners of this event were recognized at the 85 th annual Florida FFA
State Convention and Leadership Conference this past June. The event was held on April 13 in
Gainesville. The event was coordinated by Dr. Chad Carr.
The top five teams and high individual received awards sponsored by Harold's Farm Supply & Florida
FFA Alumni Association, a special project of the Florida FFA Foundation.
The Livestock Evaluation and Selection Career Development Event stimulates learning activities
related to the production and marketing of cattle, sheep and swine.

The high individual of the event was Morgan Belsey from Durant.
The Livestock CDE is one of many educational activities held each year in which FFA members apply
real-world lessons learned in the classroom.
