ST Math Homework Guide
1. Specific activation codes are required for students to access ST Math at home. This is different than the school
activation code used in the lab.
a. School specific letters with D11’s activation codes for home use computers, iPads, and Android tablets
can be found here: http://www.d11.org/Instruction/Mathematics/Pages/ST_Math_Public.aspx
2. The default for home access with ST Math is for students to play only mastered (green) content unless
objectives are assigned for homework by the teacher.
a. As long as students are playing the gray and are not working on the optional objectives they will make
syllabus progress.
3. Teachers can learn how to assign homework by following these directions from the ST Math Teacher Resource
Site.
Recommendations:

Once all students know their passwords ensure all teachers assign homework and distribute the home access
letters to all students on the same date.
o Administrative users can check to see which teachers have assigned homework on the Jiji Console
dashboard. In this example, we can see that one teacher has not assigned any homework objectives so
their students will only be able to ‘Play the Green’ at home.

Teachers can use their reports page to identify the objectives where students are working and assign those
objectives in addition to the next two in the curriculum sequence for homework. This will allow students to play
the gray without giving them unlimited access to new content without teacher support.
o Prior to long weekends or breaks it may be a good idea to assign additional objectives for homework.
Encourage parents to be facilitators of learning and inquiry by providing them with this list of facilitating
questions to use at home.

Colorado Springs District 11 ST Math Home Activation Codes
For the ST Math iPad application the activation code is divided into a School ID and Password.
Example:
Audubon’s home activation code is AUD68Q-HWV-2Z-CN2
So on the iPad you’ll enter:
