Men's Grill Manager New Albany Country Club Location: New Albany, Ohio Send Resumes to Tami Jack, Director of Human Resources, Fax: 614-939-8525, 1 Club Lane, New Albany, OH, US 43054 Job Details Primarily responsible for over-seeing and maintaining daily operational, planning, scheduling, upkeep and execution of the following areas of operation (satellite): Men's Golf Locker Room, Men's Grill/Halfway House, Beverage Cart, Carryout and Delivery, and Winter Pub Operations. Secondarily to support other F&B departments/outlets as needed, including, but not limited to, a la carte operations and banquets. Coordinate with F&B management for day-to-day instruction and guidance of the service staff to ensure that service to our members and their guests, meets the quality standards set forth by the Club. Work with senior F&B management and culinary team to consistently move the Satellite and a la carte operations forward by continual staff training, staying current with industry trends & innovations, while suggesting and presenting well-thought adjustments and improvements as necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Responsible for hiring, training and reviewing of all personnel working the Men's Grill/Winter Pub, Halfway House/Beverage Cart, Carryout and Delivery. Oversee service, service staff flow and adjustment of staff to ensure Club standards are met. Coordinate with Golf Department F&B staffing and execution of all Club/Special Golf Events and Outings. With F&B Management team responsible for the implementation of the operational game plans and execution specific to Clubhouse Satellite, a la carte and Club-related events. Develop usage programs, plans and promotions for Club Satellite and a la carte areas. Update staff on Club events and come up with ways to promote the events to members. Assist with ongoing server training program schedule of sessions. Conduct and/or involved with the discipline of service staff. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of all Satellite areas, equipment (including Beverage Carts) and CGS inventory. Assist F&B Management team in monthly inventory of all beverage products to ensure meeting budgeted COG/S levels, proper controls, proper recording. Monitor and achieve Satellite operational budget/control expenses. Aware of weekly payroll status; schedule and monitor accordingly. Attend all bi-weekly food and beverage meeting, special events, supervisor/manager meetings, server meetings and provide input. A positive attitude, punctuality, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm are all must-have qualities. Ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, Monday golf outings throughout the season. All other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises 10-20 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Requirements: Must have previous restaurant experience. Country Club experience is a plus.
