4. George had a birthday party and invited 10 friends. He wants to put 2 whistles in each
party bag. How many whistles does he need?
5. Football stickers are sold in packets of 13. I want to buy one packet each for my 2
friends. How many stickers are in both packets?
Squares, Hexagons and Pentagons:
1. A glove has space for 5 fingers. How many finger spaces are in 14 gloves?
2. A large bag of frozen chips costs 95p. How much do 8 large bags of chips cost?
3. Daniel is having a birthday party. He has invited 18 children. He will give each child
a goody-bag containing 6 marbles and 3 pencils. What is the total number of
marbles and pencils he needs to buy?
4. There are 28 children in 3C. Miss Casha has to mark each child’s numeracy and
literacy books. How many books does she have to mark?
5. Harry plants 24 trees in rows of 6. How many trees does he plant? He plants
another 2 rows of6 trees. What is the new total of trees he has planted?
