NEW PARENTS SPECIAL EDITION Registering to Volunteer Volunteers are welcome at HES and we hope you’ll be involved with our school and your child’s classroom. All volunteers must be approved by Wake County each year before they can begin helping at the school. We will let you know when the school computers are ready for volunteer online registration. Often you can take care of this during Open House or some other time in the first month of school. You should only need your driver’s license number to fill out the online form. Volunteer approval typically takes about 2-4 weeks. The Heritage Elementary PTA We will be sending home info on the PTA but here’s a short summary for you: Joining the PTA (for only $6) gives you a VOICE and a VOTE in what events we do and how fundraising dollars are spent.
