Dear Parents,
Our goal at Eagle Academy is to see all of our students succeed in all aspects of their education…
behaviorally, socially, and academically. To help them achieve academic success, we have Intervention, a
designated time after school in which staff can work with students who have been absent, want extra
help, need additional time, etc. Our regular Intervention hours are from 2:20-3:30 Monday-Thursday
and Fridays by appointment. Due to meetings and other school-related commitments, however, all
teachers may not be available on all days.
We strongly encourage you to maintain regular contact with your student’s teachers in regard to
his/her academic progress. Beyond your normal communication with your student’s teachers, the
Academic Intervention Team has been formed to provide additional structure and assistance. As a team,
we will strive to provide additional reminders to your students of intervention opportunities and
academic commitments, as well make contact with you when needed. Intervention can be requested by
parents, students, administration, and teachers alike. If you would like to initiate Intervention for your
son/daughter, please contact your teacher directly or, if necessary, contact one of us at the emails below.
Intervention is not intended to be a punishment but an opportunity for students to maximize their
achievement and overall success at Eagle Academy. If transportation cannot be arranged for your
student to stay after school, other arrangements will need to be made with teachers, which may include
giving up lunches, attending Saturday school, and/or doing the work on his/her own time.
To help us, will you please provide us your “real world” contact information you would like us to use?
