The first section was insightful can could have been supported further with the body of research underpinning the concepts / ideas being presented. The insights into code switching were very informative and worthy of further research (beyond the realm of this particular assessment task) – well done. An interesting point was the insight that “English hinders students from forming mental representations.” The final two sections of the presentation built on the first section and drew on a range of scholarly insights to inform the contentions and claims being made. A very interesting topic which was well delivered.
