The scar on Mina’s forehead arouses the superstitions of the Romanian people. (pg. 496)

others.
Van Helsing is no longer able to hypnotizer her, she sleeps much more than normal, has
virtually no appetite, and doesn’t write in her journal which is very out of character. (pg.

Van Helsing takes the precaution of grinding host into a fine powder, and spreading it all
