Meet Your
Hi! My name is Ms. Erin Flowers and I will be Mrs. Elrod’s student teacher this
semester. I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful school family for my
student teaching experience. More importantly, I am thrilled to be your student
teacher! I want to know all about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things
about me.
My hometown has been and will always be Burkesville, KY and I am the oldest of
two. I have a younger brother, Will, who is a senior in High School this year. I also
have three Golden Retrievers who are my best friends: Maizy, Scot and Jett.
When I graduated from High School, I went to Somerset Community College
and then transferred to Western Kentucky University to pursue my degree in
Elementary Education. GO TOPS! My mother is a teacher, both of her parents
are teachers, and my great-grandmother was a teacher so needless to say,
teaching is in my blood.
I would like for my students’ parents to be updated as much as possible about
what is going in our classroom. I do this by sending out reminder texts or emails
