4 Day Floristry Business 09H30 – 16H00
Course Content:4 Day Floristry Course
4 Days of in-depth hands-on learning.
The first three days are spent teaching you the Basics of Flower Arranging. 16 Different arrangements are
completed. You need no experience to start this course, we will teach you from the beginning.
Course covers, flower preparation, tools of trade, flower arranging principles.
Flower designs covered are, bunches, traditional, modern, hampers, table arrangements, funerals, basic
wedding arrangements.
All flowers and materials are provided.
Day four is a day of theory, teaching you how to run a flower business. We cover the following topics:
Costings for your business.

Quoting for functions and weddings.

How the Flower Auctions work.

Understanding the auction clocks.

Flower Gradings.

Function Preparation.

Preparation for Florist Days.
The cost of the course is R6000.
All training materials are provided. Catering is supplied.
3 Days Basic Flower Arranging
Full Practical Training
16 Different arrangements are completed. You need no experience to start this course, we will teach you from
the beginning.

National Floristry Training Institute course cancellation policy is as follows:National Floristry Training Institute reserves the right to reschedule any course if the minimum
number of students cannot attend a course / day.
Cancellation by student 7 - 14 days before start of course: A cancellation fee of 50% will be retained.
Cancellation by student less than 7 days before start of course – full deposit will be retained.
If student does not pitch for a course or class, flowers will already have been purchased. In this case
the student will forfeit the course fees for that lesson or course.
