Bristol have been centralised based right in the heart of Bristol.
Rated by the Sunday Times as the best city to live in the UK, Bristol has coast and
countryside right on its doorstep. There’s a real buzz about the city, and whether you’re
looking for culture, sport, shopping or eating out, it’s all here for you. You can find out more
about Bristol by visiting Bristol City Council’s website at www.bristol.gov.uk
The Congenital Cardiac Service based in Bristol covers South Wales, the West of England &
the South West Peninsula, a population of nearly 6 million people. It has an established
Network within the South West of England and in partnership with the Network covered by
the Welsh Congenital Cardiac Service based in Cardiff delivers the congenital cardiac
surgical and interventional service for South Wales. The paediatric cardiology service is
based at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children (BRHC). BRHC now offers, with the recent
transfer of paediatric neurosciences, spinal surgery, burns and plastics from North Bristol

neonatal medicine and the adult congenital service are provided by University Hospitals
