RHCNS Daily Clean-up List Everyday Wipe tables and chairs with soap and water mixture (in spray bottle), and then use Clorox wipes. Use scouring cleanser to remove any remaining crayon/marker. Put chairs on top of tables. Clean dishes in the sink. Wash pitchers and any dishes/utensils used during class. Wash paintbrushes if necessary. Put lids on paint cups. Thoroughly wipe paint from both sides of the easel contact paper covering. If necessary, use a scrubber. Place dry artwork in shoe pockets. Make sure toys are neat. Restock cups/napkins in classroom from supply closet on landing. Empty all garbage cans in classroom and bathroom. Place in trashcan outside. Vacuum floors and rugs in the classroom and hallway and use Swiffer mop on any spilled juice. Sweep hallway and stairs as needed, especially after particularly rainy or muddy days. BATHROOM: o Disinfect sinks and toilets using Clorox wipes. o Mop floors. Swiffer mop and wet pads are located in coatroom behind the door to the classroom. o Restock soap and paper towels as needed. o Empty garbage can. Before leaving: Make sure all classroom windows are shut. Turn off air conditioner or lower heat. Turn off all lights in classroom, coatroom and hallway. Close and lock classroom doors. Make sure building is firmly locked. Make sure outside toys are put away and cover sandbox.
