Dear St. Clare Families,
Our first school Mass on Friday allowed me to reflect on our many blessings as a school community. Thank you again to
everyone who assisted with the beginning of our 50th Anniversary renovation projects! Seeing so many of our students,
teachers, and parents coming together at church also reminds me of the wonderful spirit and support that abounds
within our St. Clare community.
Your child’s safety is a high priority to us at St. Clare. Please follow our pick-up procedures that are detailed on p. 25 of
the Handbook. At dismissal, do not park behind the students and walk over to get them from their class line. This
creates a dangerous situation for our students as you are driving in and also when you exit. Several cars have been
doing this behind the third and fourth grade areas. Please discontinue this practice for the safety of all the children,
including your own! Please remain in your car and pull up to your child’s line. Reminder: If you have a 6th – 8th grade
student riding with you, please do not arrive on campus until at least 2:35 pm. (Hint: You will find that 2:40 works even
better, as you can pull right in by then!) Starting on Wednesday, the 2nd grade students will move all the way east
along the right side, just west of the grassy strip across from the Parish Hall. Grades 6-8 will all move one space further
to the west, thus closer to the church. From the church, the order will be 8th, 7th, 6th, then 2nd and 1st, beginning on
Wednesday.
Mr. Ronquillo has been working many hours trying to resolve email issues with several internet providers. Please call
the school if you did not receive an expected email response from a staff member. Thank you for your patience.
All families should have received a letter on Thursday with your User ID and Password for the new Cashless Campus
Lunch program. A representative will be with us at Tuesday’s Home & School meeting and again on Wednesday night to
help you and answer questions.
Great news! Wm. H. Sadlier, a family-owned Catholic publisher, has teamed with the Diocese and our school to offer
Catholic Identity Links, a program that will feature a virtue of the week with materials for both school and home. Watch
for more information next month as this exciting new program is released.
