Request to Add a Course to the JC General Education
(Associate Degree Outcomes) Program
I. Read the document “Historical Process for Placing Courses in General Education for Associate
Degrees Granted by Jackson Community College (JCC)” to obtain the background knowledge to
determine whether the course is appropriate for inclusion in the General Education Program.
II.
Meet with the appropriate Academic Dean to discuss the appropriateness of adding your course
to the General Education Program
III. Complete the following:
