Youth Theatre
If you are looking for an opportunity to learn about drama in a creative, fun and supportive environment, Milton Keynes Theatre is the right place. Areas
we may explore include Mask, Physical Theatre, Mime, Script work, Devising, Movement, Greek Chorus, Voice work, backstage and production skills.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays – School Years Reception -13 - £75 per term (10 weeks)
Musical Theatre Class
The musical theatre course will be a fantastic introduction into the three aspects of musical theatre: singing, dance and acting. We will focus on
confidence building, increasing self esteem and performing in group numbers. We will be learning how to warm up the voice and body to
performance level, taking into account individual strengths, and needs. Working on numbers from well known and well loved West End musicals
and generally finding fun ways to introduce them to the wonderful, magical world of performing arts
Friday’s - 5-6pm - £75 per term (10 weeks) ages 8-12 years
Primary Ballet
Our Primary Ballet classis fantastic fun and a great way starting point for any budding ballerinas or simply any child who wants to try
something new and exciting. We combine traditional ballet syllabus with fun current music helping to engage children in dance, improve body
awareness, control and placement. We also teach children important social skills during the class such as sharing attention, taking turns
and working as part of a group.
Saturday’s 10-11am - £75 per term (10 weeks) – Ages 4-7 years
Street Dance
If you have always wanted to learn how to dance like your favourite pop stars then join our brand new fun and energetic street dance class.
Spend an hour learning funky street dance routines to catchy current chart songs.
Saturday’s 11.15am-12.15pm - £75 per term (10 weeks) – Ages 5-10 years

Theatrical Workshops
Playing Shakespeare 3 Day Drama Workshop
This three day practical fun workshop will cover the history, background and context of some of Shakespeare’s most famous plays. Participants will work
on monologues/soliloquies, investigating verse and prose, acting out scenes and bringing Shakespeare's characters to life. The workshop is aimed at
those more serious about drama who may want to think about auditioning for drama school in the future.
Wed 28th May – Fri 30th May - 10-4pm daily - £90 – Ages 12-18
Backstage Technical Tour
One of our theatre technical staff will take you on a fascinating journey backstage, where you can gain an insight into all of the technical aspects that go
into a performance. Please be aware there will be many steps and heights involved in this tour!
Thurs 29th May – 11-12pm - £10 – (ages 14+)
(14-16 years must be accompanied by an adult)
Fame Themed Theatrical Make-up Workshop
A professional make-up artist will teach you stage make-up techniques that will enable you to create 80’s inspired Fame theatrical make-up. Make-up will
be provided to practice with during the session.
Fri 15th May - 5-8pm - £25pp ( Ages 14+)
West Side Story On Stage Dance Workshop
The West side story dance captain will teach you exciting dance repertoire from the show in this on-stage dance workshop.
Sat 7 Jun 10-11am - £10 (Ages 12-16)
West Side Story On Stage Drama Workshop
The West side story resident director leads this on-stage west side story drama workshop.
Sat 14 Jun 10-11am - £10 (Ages 12-16)
Happy Days On Stage Dance Workshop
Happy Days cast member Andrew Waldron leads this on-stage dance workshop teaching repertoire from this brand new production alongside dance
technique exercises. Tickets are £20 which includes a ticket for the workshop along with a ticket to see the matinee performance afterwards. Additional
tickets are available for the show for parents/guardians to watch with you.
Sat 21 June – Workshop 10am-12pm, show 2.30pm – £20pp (Ages 10-16)
Singin in the Rain Tap Dance Class
Join us for a Singin in the rain themed tap dance class learning repertoire from the production led by the show’s resident director. Suitable for those with
tap dance experience and must bring own tap shoes to the class.
Sat 5th Jul – 11.30am-12.30pm - £10pp (Ages 14+)
Introduction to Stand up Comedy (9-13yrs)
This course is aimed at all those budding comedians and comedy actors out there. You’ll learn some of the tricks of Improv, and stand up comedy, and
have the opportunity to learn, play and perform in a safe, supportive and inclusive workshop. The course is lead by Brian Two a comedian, writer and
actor with 16 years experience in the business.
Tues 9th Aug - 10am-1pm - £20 (Ages 9-13)
ENB Youth Ballet Masterclass
Saturday 15 November: 9.30am – 12pm – (11 – 13 years)- £15
ENB Youth Ballet Class
Saturday 15 November: 1pm – 2.30pm – (7-10 years)- £10
