Apply to attend by completing the Application Form (to include public liability insurance and event risk assessment). • The site is open for setting up from 3.00 pm Saturday 2nd May 2015. • Wendy (SW Borderers) will be available in camp Sunday 3rd May 5pm7pm, to solve any site issues. • A modern camping area; to the front of the main Castle building. Modern campsites are to be shared between groups. • All modern vehicles are to be moved from the show ground by 9.15am each day. Car parking is available, as directed. All vehicles must be parked in the relevant car parks during the opening times of the show. Any that are not will be removed from the site. • All stands (trade, re-enactors and military vehicles) must be opened and manned throughout the time the show is open to the public (10.00am- 5.00pm). Strictly no vehicle movement during this time • No gun fire before 10am or after 6pm. No BB guns allowed on site. All weapons on site must comply with current U.K legislation. No blank rounds or pyrotechnics may be brought onto site unless prearranged with organizer. • Beer tent will close at 11pm, Quiet time after 11pm. • Diesel generators only to be allowed on site. • Allocation of sites and positioning of stand space will be entirely at the discretion of the organizers. • No alcohol to be consumed while show is open to the public. • There are to be NO camp fires on the ground. Raised fires are acceptable. Ground damage is to be kept to a strict minimum. A limited amount of firewood will be available; you may need to cut down to an appropriate size. • All stands are required to keep the space allocated to them free from litter at all times. Litter should be stacked and ready for collection at the end of each day’s event. • All stands are responsible for ensuring the security of their own stock and possessions, and to act as a safety steward for the stand area, this is to include fire safety. • Portaloo's will be hired for use by public and event participants. Each stand (trade, re-enactors and military vehicles) to provide Risk Assessments and valid Public Liability Insurance (We understand you may not have had your insurance renewed by the booking stage. Please let us know you will be renewing and send it to us ASAP). General Caldicot Castle Country Park Information • Please leave your area as you found it. • Toilets and water taps can be found in the main car park. Please keep these clean, do not wash cooking utensils .in the sinks. • Showers are available for use at set times within the Football Club. (50p charge) • Catering will be made available for breakfast. There will be additional hot food stands open during the evenings and early mornings. • Park speed limit 15mph, please activate your hazard lights while driving in the Park and give way to pedestrians and animals. • Wood for small raised fires will be provided. Please return unused wood to the designated point. • Fire extinguishers must be provided by each group • The show will be supporting The Royal British Legion. All site fees go directly to the charity. • Anyone taking part in the show that is not following the rules will be asked to leave the site. During the show public opening hours a site steward will be found at the Castle Reception. Any questions while you are at the event please check with the site stewards.
