Notable South Dakotans Webquest SD History Semester Project INTRODUCTION The South Dakota Hall of Fame Museum needs your help!!! They have extensive water damage that has ruined the records and histories of several South Dakotans due to a broken water pipe. They have to somehow recover these histories and have asked you for assistance. They are asking for students willing to research and rewrite these valuable histories so their museum can once again be complete and open for visitors. Are you ready to become a historian and accept this assignment? TASK You will explore and research to find the missing history of several notable South Dakotans and return the written history to the South Dakota Hall of Fame Museum. You will do this through on-line resources, reference books, South Dakota books and texts, and student discussion groups. This activity requires that you complete the following: 1. What South Dakotans will you decide to research? (Pick 2) 2. What resources will you use? (internet, reference books, textbook, etc.) 3. You will need to take notes and summarize the most important information. 4. You will take this information and write a brief biography (3 paragraphs for each person) 5.
