Please inform your child that he/she will need a pen or pencil and that yearbooks are not allowed at graduation practice. GRADUATION Wednesday, June 22nd at 9:30 AM The ceremony will take place on the George P. Johnson Field. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the auditorium. Your child must be in the cafeteria at 8:00 AM. We expect your child to dress in an appropriate way for the dignified ceremony. Shorts and flip flops are not allowed. Keep in mind the ground will be soft; therefore, choose suitable shoes. Cell phones are not allowed and should be left home. Your child may pick up his/her diploma in the gymnasium after the ceremony. Each student will receive eight (8) tickets. In case of inclement weather, only two (2) gray tickets will be allowed for entrance into the auditorium. In this case, we will simulcast the ceremony to the cafeteria, media center, and various classrooms. You may take pictures of your child before and after the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer present and your child’s picture will be taken. Please remain seated during the ceremony. We are proud of the numerous accomplishments of the 2011 senior class. With your assistance, we can have a positive end of year and a dignified graduation ceremony. Sincerely yours, Natalie C.
