It is understood that you will permit this placement subject to the University indemnifying your
organisation from and against legal liability in the event that the student(s), during the course
of the placement, causes injury or damage to property.
The University agrees to indemnify your organisation against any loss, liability or damage
resulting from a negligent or unlawful act or omission by the above student(s) in connection
with the placement, except to the extent that the loss, liability or damage is caused or
contributed to by your organisation or its employees, agents, contractors, clients, customers
or consultants.
The University has public liability insurance cover for personal injury and damage to property
of $10 million for any one claim.
