Battery Instructions
Please read and follow this
information before using the
BT-C5180 charger and
PRO5180 batteries
IMPORTANT WARNINGS!
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

DIRECTIONS TO REDUCE
RISK OF FIRE
Use the Beachtek BT-C5180
Smart Charger only with the
PRO5180 batteries.
Do not charge any other type of
battery or charge the PRO5180
batteries in any other charger.
Do not immerse the battery in
water.
Do not use or leave the battery
near a heat source.
Do not reverse the position of
the positive (+) and negative (-)
terminals.
Do not connect the battery to an
electrical outlet.
Do not dispose the battery in fire
or heat.
Do not short-circuit the battery.
Do not transport or store the
battery together with metal
objects such as necklaces,
hairpins, etc.
Do not strike of throw the battery
against a hard surface.
Do not directly solder the battery
terminals.
Do not pierce the battery with a
nail or other sharp object.
CAUTIONS!
Do not use or leave the battery at
very high temperatures (for
example in strong direct sunlight
or in a vehicle in extremely hot
weather). Otherwise, it can
overheat, or catch fire or its
performance will degenerate and
its service life will be shortened.
IATA regulations forbid spare
Lithium batteries in checked
luggage for airline passengers.
May be packed in Carry-on
Baggage only provided that the
spare battery terminals are
protected from short circuit.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1) Connect the BT-A5180 AC
Adapter into the BT-C5180
charger.
2) Plug the AC Adapter into
standard 120VAC wall socket.
May also be connected to
240VAC power with an
appropriate adapter.
3) Connect 1 or 2 Beachtek
PRO5180 batteries to charger.
Be sure to orient the positive
(+) and negative (-) terminals
on battery correctly with the
charger.
4) RED LED indicates charging.
GREEN LED indicated fully
charged or no charging.
Charging time is approx. 70
minutes.
NOTES
For longest battery life, use and
recharge batteries at least every
other month.
Store batteries in a cool, dry
place.
Do not allow batteries to
discharge completely as this will
shorten its life.
Keep batteries charged during
storage.
Dispose of batteries in
accordance with local
regulations.
Limited Two Year Warranty on
Charger
Limited 6 Month Warranty on
Batteries
This warranty covers any defects
or malfunction for period above
from date of purchase. Beachtek
will replace or repair any
defective products within the
warranty period, at no charge.
The warranty does not cover
damage resulting from accident,
alteration, misuse or abuse. The
products must be sent to our
service centre at your expense.

an RMA Request. Return
