BACHELOR OF ACCOUNTANCY SCHOLARSHIP

The University of San Diego has scholarships available from a variety of sources for the 2015-2016 academic
year. To apply, please note the following:
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Applicants must:
a. be a declared Accounting major,
b. be a candidate/member of Accounting Society or Beta Alpha Psi in good standing,
c. enroll for Bachelor of Accountancy coursework and attend Fall 2015 semester at USD,
d. have at least sophomore standing,
e. have completed at least 3 accounting units at USD, and
f. attend the 2015 Spring Awards Banquet from 6:00 to 9:30 pm, April 30, 2015, when the
awards will be announced.
2. A minimum grade point average to be considered for any of the scholarships is 3.30 (not rounded) in
overall GPA, USD GPA, and all accounting courses.
TO APPLY:
1. Complete the attached application form
2. Attach a DARS printout from USD
3. Attach a current resume
4. Prepare a one-page, typed, single-spaced essay about yourself and why you deserve a scholarship
