2015 Annual Cheer Review
1) Organizational Review:
a. N/A
b. Nicole and Alison Directors of Fall Cheer 2014.
Nicole is responsible for ordering all uniforms including but
not limited to shirts, skirts, socks, and poms.
Alison is in charge of budget and registration.
Shared duties are organizing events, organizing/recruiting
coaches and organizing the girls for cheerleading.
Aimee and Nicole Directors of Spring Cheer 2015. Nicole is
responsible for registration for K-5th and for all duties that are
incurred for Spring Cheer.
Aimee is responsible for registration for 6-7th graders (Cheer
Bootcamp) and for all duties that are incurred for Spring Cheer.

2) Operational Review:
a. No outside affiliations, leagues, etc.
b. WYB Cheer runs 2 seasons, Fall and Spring. Participants must
be in grades K – 7 and live in the Worthington School District.
Fall participants are divided into small squads and are coached
by a parent volunteer. Spring Cheer meets at the WYB Gym
(typically on a Monday) to work on jumps and gymnastics.
c. WYB Cheer uses the provided health/liability insurance at
$2.63 person.
d. Cheer “Boot Camp” being launched in 2015 for 6-7th Graders to
prepare them for Middle School Cheer Tryouts
3) Facilities Review:
a. Fall Cheer: (Aug-Oct) Thomas Worthington High School
b. Spring Cheer: (April-May) The WYB Gym is rented at $7/girl
for the season. Exec. Director bills Cheer for the use once the
participation numbers are known. The WYB Cheer program
marches in the Memorial Day parade to conclude its’ season in
late May.
4) Financial Review:
a. 2013 & 2014 Profit & Loss reports are attached
b.
c. Cheer has paid the General Fund / Facility Fund / Director Fee
for 50 participants in 2014 and 91 participants in 2013.
d. All registration fees are collected via online registration
system.
5) Compliance Review:
a. 100% School District Residency

c. No travel teams
