castle? Choose a role and give 3 reasons

Pretend you are a lord or a lady in charge
of a castle and its surroundings and write a
diary entry about your day.
Describe medieval conditions and how life
was like living within a castle for a servant.

This is a history topic focusing on life in a
castle. We will learn about the key features
of a castle and how people lived in
medieval times.

Design a poster with key information about
Warwick Castle.
Make a collage of pictures and information
about the different roles of people who lived
in a castle. (jesters, knights, candle makers,
blacksmiths)
Choose a castle of your choice to research.
Present your findings as you wish. (poster,
booklet, PowerPoint, leaflet)



Design and make your very own
trebuchet - you can research this on the
internet or at the library.
Design your own version of a medieval
outfit for a princess or a knight.
Draw a picture of your chosen/ favourite
castle.
Please choose 3- 4 pieces of homework to complete including at least one from the
literacy and one from the numeracy section.
