Special Order – Presentation from Lauren Deibler, Associate Director of Admissions
a. Student Senate is has the option to help with a program called Homeward bound.
The goal is to help the admissions office try to help recruit students from your
old high school and to get info on them. If you are interested please email Paula
Orenstein.

Special Order – Oath of Office for New Senators

Administrative Reports
a. Campus Security- Assistant Director Dale Boyer, Director Andrew Powell
1. Magill – What is happening with the construction near the
quads? I have noticed it is not closed like the email stated.
a. Boyer – I have not been monitoring the situation so I am
not sure.
2. Sinkovich – We will be electing representatives for parking
appeals for soon.

Executive Cabinet Reports
a. President- Davidson
i. My Board of Trustees report draft is going to be done most likely over
the weekend and I’ll send that out to all of you.
b. Vice President- Doran
i. Hope you had fun over the weekend on retreat. Club registration ended
this week for older clubs this week.
c. Treasurer- Magill
i. Two budget requests were approved, Alpha Mu - $2600, CAC $2400.
d. Elections Chairperson- Sinkovich
i. I finished making surveys for homecoming elections and am taking
criticism from Alumni Relations and then will send that out for voting.
e. Publicity and Marketing Chairperson- Burns
i. P&M Committee has decided that Wednesday October 20 will be the
Trick or Treat event. Last call for shirt orders as well.

IX.
Class Updates
a. Senior – We are planning our senior gift, senior class nights, and homecoming.
We may be trying to sponsor a bus for the Messiah game as well.
b. Junior – We are planning Junior/Senior, homecoming float, and are selling tshirts for the Messiah game too.
i. Scweibenz – Is it true small shirts are sold out?
1. Amspacher – Small long sleeved yes.
ii. Frees – Are there still mediums?
1. Amspacher – Yes.
iii. McGlyn – Can it be student charged?
1. Amspacher – Yes.
iv. Magill – Are you going to be ordering more?
1. Amspacher – No.
v. McGlyn – Where are they being sold?
1. Amspacher – At dinner time at the marketplace table.
c. Ambrose – Formal Jay is tomorrow. We are working on our homecoming float
and sale. We would like to announce that we will be holding an outdoor laser tag
event along with the Color Classic.
d. First-year – We are putting our ideas together for homecoming items.

Student Comments
a. Ambrose – I would like to step down from the smoking committee because I
would like to put my focus on a committee that would pursue a reimbursement
program for students who have to drive to placements, field work, etc. Let me
know if you are interested.

a. McDonald - Make sure you are submitted by September 28th for a homecoming
table.
b. Magill – Dinner.
