This reflection must follow all CCSC writing conventions (see back) for your grade
level, and the final draft must be typed in paragraph form.
Paragraph 1: Introduction to the artifact
This paragraph must include a topic sentence and a conclusion sentence.
The paragraph must also address the following topics:
 What artifact are you reflecting on? (1 sentence)
 Describe each component of the artifact in detail, as if you are explaining it to a student from
another school. (4 or more sentences)
 Describe the process you used to create this artifact. You must describe every step. (5 or more
sentences)
Paragraph 2: Skills and knowledge (Remember to use quotes in Spanish, then explain in English.)
This paragraph must include a topic sentence and a conclusion sentence.
The paragraph must also address the following topics:
 Explain one new skill you gained while completing this artifact. What can you DO now that you
could not do before? (2 or more sentences)
 How does the artifact prove that you gained this skill? Point to at least one part of the artifact and
explain how it provides evidence for the new skill you gained. (1 or more sentences)
 Explain one new piece of knowledge you gained while completing this artifact. What do you
KNOW now that you did not know before? (2 or more sentences)
 How does the artifact prove that you know this? Point to at least one part of the artifact and
explain how it provides evidence for the new knowledge you gained. (1 or more sentences)
Paragraph 3: Question from your teacher (Write this portion in Spanish. Give a general
translation English of what you wrote. )
This paragraph must include a topic sentence and a conclusion sentence.
The paragraph must also address the following topic:
 Here are two questions about the artifact from your teacher: How does one describe sequence
of actions in a movie? How are different aspects of a film connected in order for the film to be
successful?
 In Spanish these questions are:
¿Cómo puedo describir una secuencia de acciones en una
película? ¿Cuáles son los aspectos más importantes de una película y cómo funcionan para tener
éxito?
 Make sure you copy the question into the paragraph.
 Answer the question. (5 or more sentences.)
