Associate Director of Philanthropy Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota Chapter The Associate Director of Philanthropy, located in the Minneapolis – St Paul metropolitan area, offers the opportunity to join the staff of one of the largest, most successful conservation organizations in the world that ranks in the top 20 charities for private dollars raised nationally, according to the Chronicle of Philanthropy. The Nature Conservancy’s global success can be measured by the protection of 117 million acres in over 30 countries and the $1.7B raised in our four-year Campaign completed in 2011 to coincide with our 60th anniversary. The MN, ND, SD Chapter’s successes include co-leading Minnesota’s largest conservation project in its history that protects over 300,000 acres of prime northern forest, initiating the country’s largest prairie and wetland restoration project in northwestern MN, a new MN fresh water initiative and major prairie conservation with three bison ranches in the Dakotas. The Associate Director will join a team of eight philanthropy staff with a total 2014 goal exceeding $4 million. S/he will manage a portfolio of about 100 current and prospective major donors.
