Warwick Words Meet the Authors: Emlyn Rees and Josie Lloyd - County Record Office - Saturday 3rd October 2.00 pm to 3.30 pm
Wife and husband duo Emlyn Rees and Josie Lloyd are known for writing parodies of famous books, including The Very Hungover Caterpillar
and We’re Going on a Bar Hunt. Their new book is called Switch it Off - the only smartphone made entirely of paper and containing no
electronics at all! Think The Dangerous Book for Boys meets Wreck This Journal in an exciting, innovative format that readers will love. Hear
them talk about digital detox and the importance of connecting with people face to face, especially with regards to family. Then get the chance
to look at some of the letters and other material in the Record Office’s collections and find out how we used to communicate with one another in
the past. Make an embroidered First World War postcard to take home. A family event.
Tickets cost £18 per family for up to 2 adults and 2 children or £5 each and can be booked through Warwick Words box office 01926 334418 or
online at www.warwickwords.co.uk
