2015 GRASSFED BEEF ORDER FORM Our delicious beef is 100% grassfed from birth (with the occasional fall apple treat!). Currently, our small herd is a mix of Herefords, American Milking Devons and Angus. Some of our steers come from local farms that are either certified organic or share management practices similar to ours; they arrive at Reber Rock in the spring and spend the summer on our grass. How it works 1. When you order, you give us a non-refundable deposit towards your total order. (We will accept orders until we’re sold out.) 2. Your beef grows up grazing our pastures. 3. In the fall, we harvest, butcher to your specifications (for the custom cut items), wrap and freeze your beef here on the farm. 4. Before Thanksgiving, you pick up a year’s supply of beef on the farm or we deliver it. Our custom cut items include a whole cow (holy cow!), a side, a quarter and an eighth. For these items you may choose the cuts you’d like. For example, if you buy a side of beef (1/2 of a cow) you can choose from the following cuts: short ribs meaty soup bones (shank and neck) roasts (brisket, chuck, rib, sirloin, top round, London Broil) stew beef (or kebab beef) steaks (rib-eye, sirloin, porterhouse, T-bone, top round, flank) ground beef If you decide to get more than a side you will get more of each cut listed above; if you get less than a side, quantities of each cut will become limited. The smaller the portion the more limited the cut choice as different cuts come from the same part of the animal, such as steaks and roasts.
