Bag of Flour
Each student will have to bring in a bag of flour for the parenting unit. They will wrap their bag of flour in duct tape and
decorate it. They will then carry it around for a few days as their “baby”. (After the project they can take their flour
home).
Sewing
Students need to purchase their own fabric and thread for their sewing project. If there are any situations in which a
student will be unable to obtain fabric and thread please let me know and we will work something out. Fabric can be
found at Wal-mart, JoAnns, Hobby Lobby, and Micheals. The best fabric to get is 100% cotton fabric

¾ yard of one fabric piece and ¾ yard of a different fabric piece OR 1 ½ yard of fabric.
Wish List
Since the county is on a tight budget, I have a limited amount of money I can spend on food for my classes.
Donations for the students’ food labs are very helpful in bringing down the cost of food for this class. Below is a list of
items that will be used for most of the food labs and other basic supplies we use for various projects in class. Every bit
helps!! Thanks for your support!
