2016 Colorado College Summer Session
ON-CAMPUS FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION PACKET
General Information: The Colorado College Summer Session makes a limited amount of
financial aid available each summer to eliglble CC students. The purpose of this funding is to
enable all Colorado College students who require tuition assistance, beyond the Wild Card, the
opportunity to participate in summer courses. Financial Aid is intended to offset Summer
Session tuition and program fees. Tuition for Summer Session 2016 is $4,300 per one-unit of
credit. Please see the Summer Session brochure or webpage for other fees associated with
courses.
Eligibility: Financial Aid Awards are available to all matriculated Colorado College
undergraduate students who have completed their first semester of study and who are on
federal financial aid at the college (have completed a FAFSA which is on file with the college).
Students may use Summer Session financial aid for scheduled on-campus block courses.
Summer Session financial aid cannot be applied to independent study courses.
Seniors who intend to graduate in May 2016 are not eligible for summer financial aid.
Awards: Summer Session will consider awards for qualified students who enroll in one or
more of our 2016 courses. Awards will be granted based on financial need. Financial Aid
Awards will be available to students in consideration with the Wild Card block and any other
financial aid opportunities available through other campus offices.
Course Descriptions: Full descriptions of Summer Session 2016 courses, including
additional program fees, are available on the Summer Session website.
Deadlines: Applications are accepted on a rolling basis; however, due to the limited funds
available, we recommend you submit your application as early as possible. Decisions will be
made approximately two weeks from the date the application is submitted to Summer Session.
Award letters will be delivered by email and will require acknowledgment of acceptance by a
scheduled date.
