Our goal: Pre-stage long lasting Emergency Water in disaster prone areas. CAPABILITIES: Blue Can is a manufacturer of pure, premium water in sustainable aluminum packaging. Blue Can’s “premium” water in aluminum cans with a 50-year shelf life, is targeted for the emergency and disaster preparation market. Presently, the Emergency Drinking Water marketplace commonly uses plastic bottles, packets or storage barrels with chemicals that become contaminated over time, as well that all offer a much shorter shelf life than Blue Can. Blue Can’s aluminum packaging and its virtually infinite recyclability is a bonus to purchasing managers at any organization, corporation, city, state, or federal government agency. In a unique process, Blue Can uses a high-tech filtration system, including sterilization, that once placed in aluminum cans under pressure, allows the water to stay 100% pure and fresh for decades. The 50 year shelf life allows for Emergency and Resiliency Managers to increase their productivity, increased planning efficiency and reduce their budgets over time as multi- year replacement is alleviated. PAST PERFORMANCE AND SUCCESSES In May 2014 Blue Can began delivering to Federal Agencies and Hospitals an emergency water product that changed the paradigm in emergency management. A single serve aluminum can containing premium drinking water, with a 50 year shelf life. Once the 12 ounce can, that have the familiar look and feel of a soda can, began to circulate, orders quickly began to overtake a single shift production capability. Blue Can Water maintains it own in house bottling facility as well as a large warehouse and distribution center. With its own bottling facility, Blue Can water can increase capacity at will to meet the needs of the market by increasing both the number of shifts on the bottling system and by increasing the cans per minute on the bottling line. Shipping inside the continental United States is provided through a third party nationwide shipping company and international shipping is provided through the nearby Port of Long Beach. G.S.A. Blue Can has agreements with both GSA and non-GSA distributors nationally and internationally. The aluminum containers we use are pressurized and hermetically sealed to provide a long shelf life in addition to give strength to the can, case and pallet so even our 1980 lb - 100 case pallets are stackable. With our own manufacturing and distribution facility we can provide pallets of emergency water in almost any configuration, most are stackable 2 and 3 pallets high to make best use of the limited floor space available to emergency management storage centers.
