Duties include overseeing administrative functions including admissions, financials, curriculum development, personnel, daily school operations, and parent relations. Key Responsibilities include: Admissions Conduct tours for prospective families Oversee registration and daily operations of Summer Enrichment Program Assist with the registration process throughout the year as needed to maintain full enrollment Curriculum Development Maintain a curriculum that is consistent with the goals and philosophies of SMP with an emphasis on consistent progression in successive ages Assist with student assessment that demonstrate child’s progress in relation to the developmental norms for their age group and aligns with the progression in curriculum Financial Ensure accurate and timely billing practices – monthly invoices/bank draft, Ensure accurate payroll practices: input data and coordinate with the Church Business Office/distribute paychecks Print/email monthly financial reports for Board Chair and Finance Committee Complete bi-weekly check requests for purposes of bill payment and other needs Receive money and prepare bi-weekly deposits Parent Relations Be available and visible for parents, and students Prepare monthly newsletter Parent communication as needed, both written and verbal, in adherence with “24 hour response rule” Create, deploy, and analyze web-based surveys and make recommendations based on results 4 Personnel Maintain a positive and collegial work environment Be available and visible for staff Provide instructional coaching for teaching staff in areas of curriculum, methods, assessments, and professional development plans Plan, implement, and facilitate monthly staff development sessions in addition to on-going professional development initiatives Operations Manage phone/door traffic in conjunction with other staff.
