Job Specification Department IT Services Division Role / Job Title Development Lead – Extended Microsoft Dynamics CRM Reporting To Department Manager Closing Date 30th January 2014 Purpose & Profile Equiniti ICS is an IT Services organisation providing innovative business solutions to a wide range of high profile clients in the public and private sector. We use MS CRM 2011 as one of our core platforms for the provision of Case Management and other Systems in the Public Sector. We configure MS CRM and create Developer Extensions to MS-CRM to provide customised solutions which meet the exact business requirements of our clients. We are expanding our MS-CRM capability and we require an experienced software development professional who can develop and lead our solution delivery capability in this team. You will be experienced in the delivery of large solutions based on MS CRM and supporting development technologies. You will work closely with our sales team in scoping new opportunities and presenting solutions to clients. You will be able to translate complex business requirements into software solutions and provide a technical lead for our projects in this area. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership on the development of systems using the extended CRM product set and associated software development tools Assist the sales team in scoping new opportunities and discussing with clients how their business requirements can be met by an extended CRM solution Drive product demonstrations and requirements workshops with clients, showing through prototypes how their business requirements could be met Assist with the preparation of tender documents, providing MS-CRM solution overviews and responses to detailed system requirements, in addition to production of delivery estimates Carry out Systems Analysis activities, translating complex business requirements into a technical solution specification based on capabilities of MS-CRM platform Identify the most appropriate methods for solution implementation based on product configuration; software development; use of third-party components; integration with portal accelerator or other software components Work alongside our Solution Architects to design tightly integrated solutions where MS-CRM is one element of an overall solution Ensure an appropriate development methodology based on the Sure Step implementation methodology is implemented and maintained for the development and Configuration Management of extended MS-CRM Job Specification Essential Qualifications / Skills / Experience Desirable Qualifications / Skills / Experience Location solutions Develop and build the extended MS-CRM development capability in Equiniti ICS, both within the core MS-CRM team and also within the wider software development teams Provide key input into the Equiniti ICS product strategy for the creation of MS-CRM based solutions including the development of demonstrator prototypes and related R&D projects where appropriate. Liaise with MS-CRM team at Microsoft and keep up to date with all innovations in this area A minimum of 5 years’ experience of large software development/ implementation projects using .NET/C# A minimum of 2 years’ experience of designing and implementing extended MS-CRM systems Experience of integrating MS-CRM as a component into larger more complex enterprise solution Experience of team leadership within large extended MS-CRM projects Ability to demonstrate adherence to Microsoft Best practices in terms of extended CRM delivery & development Excellent technical understanding with ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and easily understood manner to non-technical audiences Team player with excellent relationship building skills Must be well organised and have excellent administration skills Good commercial awareness Communicate clearly and effectively with good presentation skills Ability to use own initiative A progressive approach to change and improvement Ability to think logically and solve problems effectively Educated to Degree Level or equivalent in an IT related discipline Experience in systems analysis or business consultancy Experience in a staff/ team management role Evidence of continued professional development/learning since finishing full time education Equiniti ICS Belfast but must be prepared to work on site as and when Job Specification Remuneration required.
