Technical Sales Trainee - Job description
Excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to further their career in the food
ingredients industry working in the field of natural colours and colouring food
stuffs.
The Job
Initially the successful candidate will spend 9-12 months training in all of the technical
aspects of food colourings and their application in a wide variety of product categories
including beverages, confectionery and desserts.
After successful completion of the training period you take over the management of your
own customer accounts where you will use our natural colour solutions to help customers
to develop new products or to solve problems. You will achieve these goals by working
together with the customer technical teams and the appropriate Chr. Hansen technical
departments. You will be expected to convert commercial opportunities into sales in order
to meet your sales budget.
The Person
We are looking for a recent graduate in food or science related subject. You should have
excellent communication and computer skills and be willing and able to work successfully in
cross functional teams. You should have a Full driving licence and be prepared to undertake
frequent travel in the UK and also to some European countries
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and possess the desire to succeed and excel and y
should comfortable in customer facing situations and also be able to demonstrate a high
degree of initiative.
