There are only 2 games at Shaw Park
Traveling between fields - We have placed numbered signs (1, 2, and 3) on the roadsides. The
signs will be posted on the right side of the road and will have a number on them. What you read for a
number is the field toward which you are heading.
Driving directions between fields –
Field 1 to Field 2 - Take a right on to weeks road exiting Gorham Middle School, drive to the traffic
light (0.3 mi). Take a left onto South Street/ Route 114 go (0.7 mi) to the traffic light on main street. Turn
right onto route 25, go (0.5 mi) through 2 traffic lights (staying on route 25) after the 2nd traffic light
immediately look for Route 202/ Gray road on your left (blinking light). Take Route 202 (3.1 mi) Field 2
Little Falls Recreation area is on the left (dirt entrance, before the traffic circle).
Field 2 to Field 3 – Take a left on to Route 202/Gray road (0.1 mi), enter roundabout (traffic circle)
and take the 3rd exit (Lamprons mini mart will be on your left. ) on to Route 237, travel (1.8 mi) on
Route 237 turn right into Field 3 Shaw Park (follow road to the end.)
Field 2 to Field 3 - Take a left on to Route 237 exiting Shaw park , travel (1.8 mi ) to roundabout
(traffic circle) and take the 1std exit (Lamprons mini mart will be on your right) on to 202/Gray road
travel (0.1 mi) turn right (dirt entrance) into Field 2 Little Falls Rec Area
Field 2 to Field 1- Take a right on to Route 202/ Gray road exiting Field 2 (little Falls Rec) drive (3.1
mi) to the intersection of 202 & 25 (blinking light), take a right onto route 25, go (0.5 mi) through 2
traffic lights at the 3rd light (intersection of 114 & 25) take a left. Go (0.7 mi) to week’s road (traffic
light), take a right go (0.3 mi) to Gorham Middle School entrance on the left. Field 1 will be on your left.
Gate fee - There will be a $4.00 per person per day or $10.00 per person tournament fee charged at
each field. Children under 9 are free. There is no charge for players or coaches.
Batting cages – Each team will be allowed 30 minutes of cage use prior to their game.
Home team
will have 30 minutes 1.5 hrs. prior to the game start. Away team will have the next 30 minutes 1 hour
prior to the game start. After batting cage use teams will move to infield practice.
Infield - Home team takes the field 30 minutes prior to game time.
The away team takes infield 20
minutes prior to game time. In the event the previous game runs over the allotted time; infield may be
shortened.
Pre-Game – Line-up cards are to be presented to the scorer’s table 45 min prior to game start. First
and last name and number for players and coaching staff. Lineup card must include the name of the
protest committee member. Managers and Umpires meet 10 min. prior to game time. Team
introductions and National Anthem will follow. Teams will only be introduced at their first game and in
the championship round.
Score Keepers – are not team personnel and do not participate in the game in any way.
Field Maintenance – There will be a team at each field prepping the field for the next game on
Saturday and Sunday, infield warm ups may be briefly interrupted during this time.
Concessions- There will be full concession stands at all three fields.
Tee shirts – limited quantities of tee shirts will be sold, if you pre ordered your tee shirts will be set
aside for pickup.
Camping - There is one camp ground within 5 minutes of the fields, there are others within a
20 to 30 minute drive.

tournament to make you and your teams experience an enjoyable one.
Gorham has a few local restaurants: Gorham House of Pizza, Lucky Thai, Gorham
Station, Thatcher’s , Gorham Gardens.
Feel free to ask a volunteer for a recommendation.
