Do you know how to sew on a button? How about sort laundry? Let’s face it
these are all skills that we need to have. Luckily, Mrs. Pope is here to the
rescue. Campers will be spending a week learning how to be responsible
young adults.
Gardening 101

Get your hands dirty with Mrs. Pam! This camp will be a run through of the
importance of organic gardening and the skills needed to grow and maintain
your own garden at home!
Junk in the Trunk
June 11-14,

Our planet needs your help! This 4-day course in creative up-cycling will
train your eye to see fun ways to recycle around the house. You can help
your parents save money by repurposing old junk and find ways to keep
trash out of the landfills.

Join Madison County High School Football coach Andrew Tillman while he
puts our campers through a basic training of sports technique. Campers will
be learning about good sportsmanship, team work, and the basics of sports
like basketball, soccer, and flag football!
Write Right

This creative writing camp is intended for students in grades 2-4. We will
explore fun and exciting ways to expand our creativity in writing. We will
work to understand the writing process using the Six Traits Writing Model,
as well as mentor text
Let’s Dance!

Move to the beat with Ms. Danielle! Campers will be learning the basics of
several different types of dancing, including hip hop and jazz. This camp will
also promote healthy exercise!
Health Scholars

This camp is strictly for completed 6th- completed 9th graders. Do you know
what to do when it comes to first aid? Are you interested in the Health
Career field? If you answered yes to either of these questions you are a fit
for this camp. Become first aid certified and talk and visit with actual people
working in the health care field
Mad Scientist I & II
June 25-28,

Enter the laboratory of our resident mad scientist Mrs. Kelley. She will be
taking her young apprentices on a tour of the subject of physical science.
Things she will be teaching are light, chemistry, and the scientific process.
Beware there will be some messy experimentation as well!

Come join the Kids in College Circus! Mrs. Christy Adams will be teaching our
campers the ins and outs of juggling. Learn how to juggle scarves, balls, and
more!

This is not your ordinary computer camp. Mrs. Phillips will be guiding
campers on creating their very own computer games but also the basics of
working with computer software.
Spotlight Theatre

Are you meant for the stage and screen? Ms. Della Webb is looking for
young actors, actresses, and stage crew to put on a fabulous production.
Campers will be learning the basics of theatre workings all while putting
together an actual production!
Music University

Enter the world of music with Mrs. Youtzy! Campers will be learning basic
music theory, techniques for playing the hand bells, and also music
appreciation!
Call of the Wild

Explore our natural world with Mrs. Pope. She will lead an expedition to
uncover all the plants and creatures that inhabit our NFCC campus. Campers
will be learning about birds, plants, and basic outdoor safety!
Riddle Me This

Give your brain a workout this summer by helping Mrs. Christy Adams solve
some fun and logical problems. For example: You have a basket containing
ten apples. You have ten friends, who each desire an apple. You give each of
your friends one apple.
After a few minutes each of your friends has one apple each, yet there is an
apple remaining in the basket. How?
Odyssey of the
Mind

Learn how to think outside the box! This camps problem is entitled
Fantastical Fairy Tales! Campers will be learning about different tales from
around the world and then creating their own new age fairy tale!
Gymnastics

Come be a tumble weed with Coach Garrett Price. Coach Price will be
teaching the basic techniques of gymnastics. Campers will need to wear
comfortable clothes for this camp as they will be tumbling.
Manners Matter

Campers who enter this camp will leave with social grace! Ms. Robinson will
be showing our campers all they need to know when it comes to behave in a
way befitting young ladies and gentlemen.
Digital Media

Take an artistic journey with Daniel Perez. Campers will be learning the
basics of Microsoft Publisher and Photoshop. They will also be learning the
basics of the digital media profession.
Scale Model Camp

Junior Architects are needed! Campers will be using math and logic to build
replicas of famous buildings and bridges. This camp is restricted to only
completed 4th grade and up.
