Template for submission of an abstract to conduct a pre-conference workshop (Maximum of 750 words) A workshop is an interactive session led by one or more presenters who are experts in the subject of the forum, convened to enhance both the skills and/or knowledge of the individuals attending. The workshop will allow significant time – at least half of the allocated workshop period – for audience participation, exchange of ideas or transferring of skills. The workshop may be presented at introductory, intermediate or advanced levels of activity. Individual(s) wishing to lead a workshop should submit an abstract (maximum 750 words), clearly setting out the background and rationale, aims, objectives, the need for the workshop and its intended outcomes, and describing the workshop format for participation. This should include any specific requirements for interaction that will have an effect on the room layout and the numbers of participants who can be accommodated (i.e. equipment and room/desk set-up).
