Ellie Mae has opened registration for the 2016 Experience user conference in Las Vegas from Feb 29-March 2, and attending would
be an excellent opportunity for both myself and the entire company in terms of what I can bring back.
An entire community of approximately 2,000 Encompass users, Ellie Mae product experts, and mortgage industry leaders will be on
hand to share best practices, provide hands-on training, and demonstrate new innovations. The networking alone is an incredible
opportunity to get problem-solving strategies, real-life insights, and practical approaches to make our organization more efficient,
compliant, and successful.
At Experience there’s one day of 12 mortgage and hands-on Encompass Pre-Conference Training classes, plus two days of 24 indepth breakout sessions during the Experience conference. There’s five conference tracks overall, each with a specific focus, and
the one I’m most interested in attending is [insert track name, choose from: Compliance; Operations; Technical; Sales & Marketing;

I’m looking into ways to keep expenses to a minimum, including airfare sales, hotel discounts, ride-sharing, and meals with vendors.
And I'll be sure to submit a post-conference report that will include a summary of my sessions and networking, and a set of
recommendations based on the best practices I learn at the conference.
We could even turn this into a team-building event and save an additional 20% on registrations if we send five or more people. As I
mentioned, there’s five tracks with a total of 24 breakout sessions, along with 12 pre-conference training sessions, and 10 solutions
showcase drop-in sessions. If a team of us attend we would really cover all the bases. And just for reference, the advanced
registration discount price expires on December 15.
